Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 3.7–4.4 mm. Head ferruginous, except brown spot on ocellar region; antenna testaceous; pronotum ferruginous; mesoscutum black, except regions along notauli and posterior third of median region ferruginous; mesoscutellum black, with ferruginous nuances; mesopleuron and metapleural-suture ferruginous; rest of mesosoma black; petiole testaceous; metasoma brown, except posterior third testaceous; legs testaceous. Antenna clavate, short, with antennomeres 5–9 longer than broad; antennomeres in following proportions: 16:8:12:7.5:6.5:6:5.5:5:5:8. Head convex, dull, covered with short setae, completely reticulate rugose and granulate; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 2; OOL = 8; OPL = 9; TL = 9. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, dull, setose, with sides sculptured by many longitudinal keels, with anterior collar granulate and with many short longitudinal keels on transverse furrow; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum completely granulate and reticulate rugose. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli longer than greatest breadth of lateral ocelli (10:4). Mesoscutellum partly granulate and partly sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels. Metanotum reticulate rugose. Mesopleuron dull, reticulate rugose. Metapleuron dull, sculptured by numerous strong transverse keels. Metapectal-propodeal disc with strong transverse posterior keel, dull, rugose, with few very large areolae (inner surface of areolae shiny and rugose); propodeal declivity dull, with two complete longitudinal keels and median and lateral areas reticulate rugose. Forewing with one dark spot situated around 2r-rs&Rs vein; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein slightly shorter than proximal part (15:17); 2R1 cell open. Petiole long, much shorter than metasoma (14:72). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 20:3:4:16:17. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 101E View FIGURE 101 ) with one row of seven teeth and one bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 101E View FIGURE 101 ) with one preapical lamella, two bristles and an inner band. Tibial spurs 1/1/1 (for mistake 1/1/ 2 in original description).

Paratypes: NAMIBIA: Brandberg, Inside Hungorob ravine, 21°11.30’S 14°31.40’E, 1200 m, 25.X.1998, at light 1900–0700, R. Butlin & J. Altringham leg. GoogleMaps , 2♀♀ ( MOLC, SMWN) .
