Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 6.0– 6.2 mm. Holotype with head reddish, except brown spot on frons; antenna testaceous; propleuron black; mesosoma brown-reddish, except metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity black; metasoma brown-reddish; legs ferruginous. In specimen from Madagascar, 24°56.21’S 46°37.60’E, head brown, except mandible, clypeus and anterior region of frons ferruginous; antenna testaceous; propleuron, pronotum and mesoscutum brown, with ferruginous nuances; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown, except tarsi, articulations and part of procoxa testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:5:48:27:22:15:12:10:8:10. Head shiny, slightly punctate (in specimen from Madagascar, 24°56.21’S 46°37.60’E, punctate and slightly granulate), with many irregular longitudinal keels on frons; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; lateral ocelli not touching occipital carina; POL = 1; OL = 1; OOL = 13; OPL = 1; TL = 6; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli longer than OPL (3:1). Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, except lateral regions sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels; pronotum crossed by slight anterior transverse impression and strong posterior transverse furrow; anterior collar slight; posterior collar long; disc humped; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures in holotype, slightly granulate among punctures in specimen from Madagascar, 24°56.21’S 46°37.60’E. Notauli incomplete, approximately reaching 0.65–0.70 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum shiny, punctate, with numerous curvilinear longitudinal keels. Metanotum punctate and rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, about twice as long as propodeal declivity; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein about twice as long as proximal part. Protarsomere 1 about as long as 4; protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 126A View FIGURE 126 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 14 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 126A View FIGURE 126 ) with two rows of about 42 lamellae; apex with approximately 12–20 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
♂. Unknown. Benoit (1954) described a ♂ allotype; however it was not obtained by rearing ( Benoit 1954), so that it is not sure that it is the opposite sex of the described ♀ ( Olmi 1984).
