Hosts. Unknown.
Distribution. Botswana, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania.
Remarks. Bocchus simoni Olmi (described on the basis of a ♀) is here tentatively synonymized with B. watshami (described on the basis of a ♂), because both sexes were collected in the same locality ( South Africa, 32°32.033’S 25°14.267’E). Their head, mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum have the same sculpture, so that it is likely that they are the opposite sexes of B. watshami , though they were not reared.
