Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 3.0 mm. Head black, except mandible, malar space and anterior stripes on frons along orbits and near clypeus testaceous; antenna brown, except scape and flagellomeres 6–8 testaceous; mesosoma black or brown-black, except pronotum brown, posterior half of mesoscutellum occasionally yellow, metanotum brown, apex of propodeal declivity yellow; metasoma black; proleg testaceous, except part of coxa, club of femur and tibia brown; meso-- and metaleg testaceous, except part of coxae and clubs of femora brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:5:15:7:7:5:6:4:4.5:8. Head excavated, dull, slightly or strongly granulate; frontal line incomplete, absent near clypeus; occipital carina absent; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 8. Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum shiny, crossed by strong transverse impression, unsculptured, except some longitudinal striae on disc. In specimen from South Africa, 33°34.092’S 18°47.680’E, pronotum dull, sculptured by many longitudinal striae. Mesoscutum dull, sculptured by many longitudinal striae, laterally without strong pointed apophyses, with three small lateral prominences corresponding to transverse carinae present on lateral regions of mesoscutum ( Fig. 183E View FIGURE 183 ). Metanotum rugose, excavated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 183F View FIGURE 183 ), with sides protruding; lateral protrusions of metanotum pointed ( Fig. 183E View FIGURE 183 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, sculptured by many slight longitudinal striae; propodeal declivity, mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 15:2.5:6:15:23. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 187C View FIGURE 187 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 6–10 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 187C View FIGURE 187 ) with two rows of 11–19 lamellae; apex with about 14 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
