Diagnosis. Apterous ♀ of Gonatopus with palpal formula 6/3; pronotum crossed by strong transverse furrow; meta- notum about coplanar to mesoscutellum ( Fig. 189C View FIGURE 189 ); metapectal-propodeal disc black, very humped ( Fig. 189C View FIGURE 189 ); enlarged claw ( Fig. 194B View FIGURE 194 ) with apex slender, one big subdistal tooth and one row of lamellae; protarsomere 5 with long rows of lamellae ( Fig. 194B View FIGURE 194 ).

Description. ♀ ( Figs 189B, C View FIGURE 189 , 193 View FIGURE 193 ). Apterous; body length 4.3 mm. Head brown-black, except mandible, clypeus, anterior half of frons and ventral side whitish; antenna testaceous-brown, except scape yellow; mesosoma black, except dorsal stripe on propleuron testaceous; metasoma brown; legs brown, except part of coxae, trochanters and part of femora whitish, tarsi testaceous.Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:6:19:9:7:5: 6:5.5:5.5:9. Head excavated, shiny, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 1; OL = 1.5; OOL = 10; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli longer than POL (2:1). Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum shiny, unsculp- tured, crossed by strong transverse furrow. Mesoscutum shiny, unsculptured, with two strong pointed apophyses laterally ( Figs 189B View FIGURE 189 , 193B View FIGURE 193 ). Mesoscutellum shiny, flat. Metanotum about coplanar to mesoscutellum ( Fig. 189C View FIGURE 189 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc very swollen ( Fig. 189C View FIGURE 189 ), shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron shiny, unsculptured. Metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 16:3:6:22:33. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 194B View FIGURE 194 ) with apex slender, one big subdis- tal tooth and one row of six lamellae + one bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 194B View FIGURE 194 ) with two rows of 18 lamellae; apex with at least 30 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Type: ♀ holotype (CASTYPE19465): MADAGASCAR: Antsiranana, Marojejy National Park, Manantenina River, 27.6 km 327° NNW Manantenina, 14°26.06’S 49°45.36’E, 775 m, 15–18.XI.2003, sifted litter (leaf mold, rotten wood), rainforest, B.L. Fisher et al. leg., BLF8872 ( CAS). Hosts. Unknown. Distribution. Madagascar. Etymology. The species is named marojejyanus after the collection site in the Marojejy National Park GoogleMaps .
