Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 4.7 mm. Head black, except clypeus and mandible reddish; antenna testaceous-reddish; mesosoma black, except lateral regions and posterior margin of pronotum reddish; metasoma testaceous, except tergite 1 partly black; legs testaceous-reddish. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 35:13:51:33:24:15:13:12:11:17. Head shiny, weakly excavated, reticulate rugose on frons and vertex; occiput sculptured by many keels; occipital carina absent. POL = 11; OL = 6; OOL = 29. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum ( Fig. 164C View FIGURE 164 ) crossed by transverse impression, dull, granulate and sculptured by some striae on collar and around the disc; posterior edges of pronotum rounded, not produced into lobes. Mesoscutum shiny, granulate and reticulate rugose. Notauli absent. Mesoscutellum granulate and reticulate rugose. Metanotum very reduced and short. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein approximately as long as proximal part. Protrochanter approximately 4 × as long as broad. Protarsomere 1 longer than 4 (21:8). Enlarged claw ( Fig. 164D View FIGURE 164 ) with one subapical tooth and five bristles. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 164D View FIGURE 164 ) with two rows of 14 lamellae; apex with at least 15 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Types: ♀ holotype: SOUTH AFRICA: Eastern Cape, Port St. Johns , XI.1923 , R.E. Turner leg. ( NHMUK). Paratype: same locality label as holotype, XII.1923, 1 ♀ ( NHMUK). Other material: same locality label as holotype, 7–13.VIII.1923 , 1♀ ( NHMUK) .
