Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum dull, setose, granulate, with numerous slight longitudinal keels, crossed by strong transverse impression. Mesoscutum dull, granulate and with some longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophyses. Metanotum dull, transversely striate, weakly excavated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 180D View FIGURE 180 ), with sides protruding; lateral protrusions of metanotum more or less pointed ( Fig. 180I View FIGURE 180 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, granulate, sculptured by many longitudinal keels; propodeal declivity, mesopleuron and metapleuron not or slightly transversely striate. In paratype from South Africa, Katberg, anterior surface of metapectal-propodeal disc rugose and without longitudinal keels. In specimen from South Africa, Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, propodeal declivity completely strongly transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomere 1 slightly shorter than 4 (14:15). Enlarged claw ( Fig. 179D View FIGURE 179 ) with apex broad, one large subdistal tooth and one row of 5–9 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 179D View FIGURE 179 ) with two rows of 12–17 lamellae (shortest row extending or not beyond 0.5 length of protarsomere); apex with approximately 10–20 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
