Diagnosis. Apterous ♀ of Gonatopus with palpal formula 3/2; pronotum crossed by strong transverse furrow; metanotum with lateral pointed protrusions ( Fig. 169C View FIGURE 169 ); meso-metapleural suture obsolete.
Description. ♀ ( Fig. 169C View FIGURE 169 , 170 View FIGURE 170 ). Apterous; body length 4.4 mm. Completely testaceous-ferruginous, except antennomeres 3–10 brown, posterior margin of mesoscutellum and petiole black. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:6:16:9:8:7:6:6:5:10. ADOs present in antennomeres 6–10. Head ( Fig. 170D View FIGURE 170 ) shiny, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina very short, only present behind ocellar triangle; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 8. Palpal formula 3/2. Pronotum shiny, bare, unsculptured, crossed by strong transverse furrow ( Fig. 170C View FIGURE 170 ). Mesoscutum shiny, sculptured by few longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophyses. Mesoscutellum shiny, unsculptured. Metanotum flat, sculptured by transverse keels, about coplanar to mesoscutellum ( Fig. 171E View FIGURE 171 ), with lateral pointed protrusions ( Figs 169C View FIGURE 169 , 170B View FIGURE 170 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc ( Fig. 169C View FIGURE 169 ) shiny, unsculptured, with track of median longitudinal furrow; propodeal declivity, mesopleuron and metapleuron strongly transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 16:3:6:15:26. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 172A View FIGURE 172 ) with one large subapical tooth and one row of seven lamellae + one bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 172A View FIGURE 172 ) with two rows of 16 lamellae; apex with about 12 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Distribution. Union of the Comoros.
Etymology. The species is named comorensis after the collection site in the Comoros Islands.
