Gonatopus pilosipes Brues 1906: 104 ; Olmi 1984: 1595; 2006: 50.

Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 4.5–7.4 mm. Head brown; antenna with antennomeres 1–3 reddish; other an- tennomeres missing in only two examined specimens, including holotype; pronotum black, except posterior surface and lateral regions reddish; rest of mesosoma and metasoma black; legs black, except tarsi testaceous. Head ( Fig. 230H View FIGURE 230 ) slightly excavated, shiny, granulate, with some longitudinal keels on frons; occiput setose; POL = 5; OL = 7; OOL = 23. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, with long setae, with some keels on lateral regions, crossed by strong transverse impression. Mesoscutum shiny, with long setae, with two lateral pointed apophyses. Metapectal-propodeal disc with long setae, sculptured by numerous longitudinal keels; propodeal declivity, mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 24:4:8:23:35. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 235B View FIGURE 235 ) with one small subapical tooth and one row of eight lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 235B View FIGURE 235 ) with inner side proximally serrate, with two rows of 17 lamellae (shortest row not extending beyond 0.5 length of protarsomere); apex with about 19 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
