Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 4.5–6.0 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus yellow; occasionally malar space testaceous; antenna black; occasionally antennnomere 1 testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs black, except trochanters, meso- and metatibia and meso- and metatarsus brownish. Antennomeres in follow- ing proportions: 11:9:26:23:15:15:12:12:9:14. Head dull, excavated; frons bare; occiput setose; frons and vertex with some longitudinal keels. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, smooth, with anterior surface of disc alutaceous and lateral regions and collar setose. Mesoscutum with some longitudinal keels. Metanotum sculptured by longitudinal keels. Metapectal-propodeal disc setose, sculptured by longitudinal keels; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Metasoma and legs very setose. Enlarged claw of holotype ( Fig. 236E View FIGURE 236 ) with one small subapical tooth and 10 small lamellae; enlarged claw of specimen from Mozambique, Cuamba, without subapical tooth and with one row of 12 lamellae. In holotype, protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 236E View FIGURE 236 ) with one row of 25 lamellae and apex provided with at least 16 lamellae. In specimen from South Africa, Irene, protarsomere 5 with two rows of 2 (proximal) + 18 lamellae. In specimen from Mozambique, Cuamba, protarsomere 5 with two rows of 1 (proximal) + 25 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: [no locality], A. Seyrig leg. ( MNHN) . Other material: MOZAMBIQUE: Niassa, Cuamba, Campus of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Catholic University of Mo- zambique, sweeping, 7.VI.2007, M. Olmi leg. , 1♀ ( MOLC) ; same locality label, C. 30.V.2007, B. 10.VI.2007, Sf. 15.VII.2007, M. Olmi reared from an adult of Exitianus sp ., 1♀ ( MOLC) . SOUTH AFRICA: Gauteng, Irene , 1♀ ( SANC) .

Hosts. Cicadellidae ( Guglielmino et al. 2013) : in Mozambique: Exitianus sp.

Distribution. Madagascar, Mozambique, South Africa.
