Gonatopus luteipes (Benoit) : Olmi 1984: 1611; Olmi et al. 2015: 365.

Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 1.6–3.1 mm. Head brown, except clypeus, mandible and anterior region of frons yellow; antenna yellow, except antennomeres 4–10 brown; mesosoma black; metasoma black, with some brown nuances; legs yellow, except clubs of femora brownish and both extremities of meso- and metatibia brownish (legs appear to be banded such as in ♀♀ of group 1). Head ( Fig. 229C View FIGURE 229 ) weakly excavated, almost flat, shiny, granulate; POL = 3; OL = 5; OOL = 15. Palpal formula 4/2 or 5/2. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, granulate. Mesoscutum dull, strongly granulate, without lateral pointed apophyses. Metanotum dull, granulate, with some transverse striae. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, completely granulate; propodeal declivity granulate, not transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron not transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 223C View FIGURE 223 ) with one small subapical tooth and with or without bristles, or small lamellae, or peg-like setae. Protarsomere 5 of holotype ( Fig. 223C View FIGURE 223 ) with inner side proximally not serrate and one row of one long lamella + four very short lamellae, in addition to many bristles; apex with four lamellae, including one very long. In specimen from South Africa, 31°12.923’S 19°40.812’E, Protarsomere 5 with five lamellae and many bristles; apex with five lamellae, including one very long. In specimen from Namibia, Okahandja, protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 223D View FIGURE 223 ) with one row of 20 lamellae and group of eight distal lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

SOUTH AFRICA: Northern Cape, 30 km N of Calvinia, Kelkiewyn Farm , 31°12.923’S 19°40.812’E, 762 m, 29.IX–30.XII.2010, MT, Hantam Succulent Karoo, KEL09-SUC1-M05 GoogleMaps , 1♀ ( SAMC) .
