Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 4.4–5.6 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus yellow; antenna black, except ventral side of antennomere 1 yellow; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs reddish, except coxae and profemur black or brown. In specimens from Kenya, 00°38.1’N 37°40.4’E and 2.07836°S 38.22517°E, head black, except mandible, part of clypeus and part of malar space testaceous; antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 1, 9, 10 and proximal half of 3 brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except coxae and clubs of femora brown. Head excavated, dull, granulate and with short irregular keels. In specimens from Kenya, 00°38.1’N 37°40.4’E and 2.07836°S 38.22517°E, and South Africa, 33°59.030’S 20°49.128’E, head completely rugose; frontal line complete; POL = 2; OL = 2; OOL = 15. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, dull, granulate. In specimens from Kenya, 00°38.1’N 37°40.4’E and 2.07836°S 38.22517°E, pronotum granulate, with disc completely or partly unsculptured. In specimen from South Africa, 33°59.030’S 20°49.128’E, pronotum with many longitudinal striae on lateral regions of anterior collar and around disc. Mesoscutum granulate, with some longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 240I View FIGURE 240 ). In specimen from Kenya, 00°38.1’N 37°40.4’E, mesoscutum completely sculptured by many longitudinal keels. Metanotum rugose, excavated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 240J View FIGURE 240 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, granulate; propodeal declivity transversely striate (in specimens from Kenya, 2.07836°S 38.22517°E, and South Africa, 33°59.030’S 20°49.128’E, metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures). In specimen from South Africa, 33°59.030’S 20°49.128’E, top of metapectal-propodeal disc with track of median longitudinal furrow. Mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 20:4:6:23:35. In specimen from Kenya, 00°38.1’N 37°40.4’E, Protarsomeres in following proportions: 22:5:8:29:48. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 241C View FIGURE 241 ) with one small subapical tooth and four peg-like setae or bristles. In specimens from Kenya, 00°38.1’N 37°40.4’E and 2.07836°S 38.22517°E, enlarged claw with one peg-like seta + one bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 241C View FIGURE 241 ) with inner side proximally not serrate and two rows of 4 + 23–24 lamellae, or two rows of 2–3 (proximal) + 18–30 lamellae; apex with at least 10–13 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
