REMARKS

This taxon was found on the banks of the Johnstone River. There is no type in Australian herbaria and the description is dubious, as there is no useful diagnostic character given ( Simmonds 1957: 476). According to Ross (1987: 29) it is not possible to determine to which taxon this name refers as there are no specimens bearing this name in Australian herbaria and in Hill’s brief description there is no description of the flowers. The name has not been used by botanists.
