Type locality. Serra Azul , state of São Paulo, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 268A View Plate 268 ). Recorded in the southern portion of the Cerrado and its contact with the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 268A View Plate 268 ), mostly at intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 268B View Plate 268 ). Observed in the field in seasonal forest, savanna, and disturbed areas ( Sawaya et al., 2008; Barros et al., 2017).
