Type locality. Palmas , state of Paraná, Brazil .

Distribution. Known from Argentina and Brazil ( Plt. 329A View Plate 329 ). In Brazil, restricted to southern Atlantic Forest and Araucaria Forests ( Plt. 329A View Plate 329 ), mostly at intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 329B View Plate 329 ). Observed in the field in forest, urban habitats, and plantation (RSB, pers. obs.).
