Type locality. Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 341A View Plate 341 ). Recorded in the southern portion of the Atlantic Forest and marginally in the Cerrado ( Plt. 341A View Plate 341 ) at low to high elevations ( Plt. 341B View Plate 341 ). Observed in the field in forest ( Lema, 1964; Prudente and Feio, 2001; Forlani et al., 2010).
