Rodriguesophis scriptorcibatus ( Rodrigues, 1993) View in CoL

Type locality. Ibiraba , left margin of the São Francisco River, Barra, state of Bahia, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 337A View Plate 337 ). Known only from three records in Caatinga ( Plt. 337A View Plate 337 ), mostly at low elevations long the São Francisco River depression ( Plt. 337B View Plate 337 ). Observed in the field in grassland and shrubland on sandy soil ( Rodrigues,1993; Guedes et al., 2014).
