Type locality. Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 366A View Plate 366 ). Widespread in the Atlantic Forest and its contact area with the Cerrado and Caatinga ( Plt. 366A View Plate 366 ), mostly at intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 366B View Plate 366 ). Observed in the field in forest and disturbed areas ( Sazima and Puorto, 1993; Barbo, 2008; Guedes et al., 2014).
