Type locality. Lagos , Timbó, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 397A View Plate 397 ).Restricted to the Araucaria Forest ( Plt. 397A View Plate 397 ), mostly at high elevations ( Plt. 397B View Plate 397 ). Observed in the field in grassland, upland forest, and disturbed areas ( Abegg et al., 2018).
