Type locality. Base Camp of Cerro de la Neblina , Amazonas, Venezuela .

Distribution. Known from Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela on the Guiana Shield ( Plt. 110A View Plate 110 ). In Brazil, recorded in western Amazonia ( Plt. 110A View Plate 110 ), mostly at low elevations ( Plt. 110B View Plate 110 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Roze (1996), Campbell and Lamar (2004), and Silva Jr. et al. (2016). Observed in the field in forest ( FranÇa and Venâncio, 2010; Bernarde et al., 2011; Silva Jr. et al., 2016).
