Caaeteboia amarali ( Wettstein, 1930) View in CoL

Type locality. Belo Horizonte , state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Probably in error, given the lack of records outside coastal, lowland areas of the Atlantic Forest .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 211A View Plate 211 ). Most records in coastal portions of the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 211A View Plate 211 ), at low elevations ( Plt. 211B View Plate 211 ). Observed in the field in forest ( Marques et al., 2001).
