Type locality. Santos , São Paulo, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 220A View Plate 220 ) restricted to the southern portion of the Atlantic Forest and its contact with the Araucaria Forest ( Plt. 220A View Plate 220 ), mostly at intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 220B View Plate 220 ). Observed in the field in secondary forest ( Trevine, 2011; Fiorillo, 2016).
