Type locality. Uberlândia , state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, fide Costa and Bérnils (2015) .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 257A View Plate 257 ). Known from the central portion of the Cerrado and its contact with the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 257A View Plate 257 ) at low to intermediate elevations ( Plt. 257B View Plate 257 ). No detailed field data on habitat use are available for this species.
