Type locality. Fazenda Bananeira , Murici, state of Alagoas, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 31A View Plate 31 ), restricted to the northern portion of the Atlantic Forest at low elevations ( Plt. 31B View Plate 31 ). Observed in the field in forest and cocoa plantations ( Freire et al., 2007).
