Type locality. Trilha da Água Branca , Ilhabela, state of São Paulo, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 26A View Plate 26 ). Restricted to a small coastal portion of the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 26A View Plate 26 ) at low elevations ( Plt. 26B View Plate 26 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Centeno et al. (2010). Observed in the field in forest ( Centeno et al., 2010).
