Type locality. Queimada Grande Island , Itanhaém, state of São Paulo, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 61A View Plate 61 ). Recorded only at Queimada Grande Island, Itanhaém, state of São Paulo ( Plt. 61A View Plate 61 ), at low elevations ( Plt. 61B View Plate 61 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Campbell and Lamar (2004). Observed in the field in secondary forest ( Martins et al., 2008a).
