Type locality. Ilhéus , Bahia, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 75A View Plate 75 ). Recorded in the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 75B View Plate 75 ) at low to intermediate elevations ( Plt. 75B View Plate 75 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Campbell and Lamar (2004). Observed in the field in primary forest ( Freitas, 2014).
