Description. Female: (n = 9) Body spindleform, ivory-white, 145 (143−153) long, 65 (62−75) wide, 62 (60−72) thick. Gnathosoma 26 (25−27), projecting obliquely down, dorsal pedipalp genual setae (d) 4 (4−5). Prodorsal shield sub-quadrangular; with frontal lobe; 35 (34−38) long, 60 (58−62) wide; median line complete, admedian lines and submedian lines incomplete, three transverse short lines connected median and admedian lines forming 6 cells. Scapular tubercles on rear margin, 40 (38−42) apart, scapular setae (sc) 17 (16−18), directed postero-laterally. Coxal area sculptured with granules, coxae І with sternal line, anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) 5 (5−6), proximal setae on coxisternum І (1a) 10 (9−12), proximal setae on coxisternum ІІ (2a) 24 (23−25). Legs І 24 (23−25), femur 8 (8−9), basiventral femoral setae (bv) 4 (4−5); genu 2.5(2.5−3), antaxial genual setae (l'') 24 (22−27); tibiae very small but distinct, 1 (1−2), without paraxial tibial setae (l’); tarsus 10 (9−11), tarsal empodium 3 (3−4), simple, 5-rayed, tarsal solenidion 5 (5−6), knobbed. Legs ІІ 20 (19−22), femur 7 (7−8), basiventral femoral setae (bv) 10 (9−12); genu 2.5 (2.5−3), antaxial genual setae (l'') 8 (7−9); tibiae very small but distinct, 1 (1−2); tarsus 5 (5−6); tarsal empodium 3 (3−4), simple, 5-rayed, tarsal solenidion 7 (6−8), knobbed. Opisthosoma: dorsum with submedian ridges, dorsal annuli 35 (34−36), smooth and undulated; ventral annuli 43 (41−45), with filamentous microtubercles; setae c2 14 (13−16) on ventral annulus 9 (8−9); setae d 44 (40−46) on ventral annulus 18 (18−19); setae e 9 (8−9) on ventral annulus 29 (28−29); setae f 20 (19−21), on 6th ventral annulus from rear; setae h2 58 (52−70), setae h1 present 1 (1−2). Female genitalia 17 (17−18) long, 23 (22−24) wide, coverflap sculptured with basal granules, proximal setae on coxisternum ІІІ (3a) 6 (6−7).

Male: Not seen.

Type data: Holotype, female, Liujing town, 60 km South of Beiliu County (22°71’N, 110°33’E), Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, 27-Jan.-2006, from Glochidion lanceolarium (Roxb.) Voigt (Euphorbiaceae) , collected by De-Wei LI and Guo-Ying SHI. Paratypes, 8 females, with the same data as holotype.

Relation to host: The mites are vagrant on the undersurface of leaves, no visible damage symptom.

Etymology: The species name is derived from the specific name of the host plant.
