Type locality. Central Madagascar, Eastern Andringitra, Anjavidilava .

Distribution. The species is widely distributed in humid forests from Ambohitantely and region north of lac Alaotra, through environs of Andasibé (Périnet), Ambohimahasoa, Mt. Ambondrombe, Andringitra Mts., Vohitrosa forest near Betroka up to Chaînes Anosyennes in the south-eastern part of Madagascar.
