Referred specimen (according to a catalogue entry a type specimen): ZMB 86232, skin and skull (missing), male; Kurkuzin Village near Vladikavkaz, Caucasus Mts., North Ossetia; collected by Radisev, 11 May 1928, in exchange from Museum Moskow .

Comment: The collecting data agrees with those of Kusjakin’s original description, who, however, designated another specimen as the holotype (Moscow No. S. 9266, male).
