Valid name: Hypsugo savii (Bonaparte, 1837)

Syntypes (marked with type *): ZMB 3040 , skin, skull not extracted; St. Gotthard , Uri, Switzerland. ZMB 3113 , body in alcohol, skull not extracted, pullus; Mont Blanc , Haute Savoie , France. ZMB 480 (missing); St. Gotthard, Switzerland. All three specimens collected by Blasius, between 1847 and 1852 .

Comment: Further syntypes are present in the Staatliches Naturhistorisches Museum Braunschweig ( SNMBR) N 39339 (three specimens), N 39347, N 39348 and N 39349, all specimens from St. Gotthard .
