Valid name: Artibeus (Koopmania) concolor Peters, 1865

Holotype: ZMB 2617 View Materials , body in alcohol, skull extracted, male adult; Paramaribo, Suriname; ex Museum Hamburg.

Comment: In the general catalogue the following note is entered for ZMB 2617 in Peters’ original handwriting: “? Artibeus undulatus Gervais ”. Carter & Dolan (1978: 60) considered this specimen to be the either the holotype or a syntype, although no evidence was given for the latter assumption .
