Syntypes: ZMB 2548 View Materials (two specimens), bodies in alcohol, skulls extracted, females; Gadok, Java Barat, Indonesia; collected by H.A. Bernstein , 1863.

Comment: Dobson (1878: 113) mentioned a single “ type ” in ZMB, but Peters examined “only females” [plural] .
