Paratype: ZMB 5550 View Materials , body in alcohol, skull extracted, female, adult; Zanzibar, Tanzania; donated by G.E. Dobson .
Comment: According to Andersen (1912: 532) the [holo]type is in BMNH [presumably 1879.9.12.4]. Paratypes were distributed by Dobson to various museums.
