Chrysopoidea Nel et al., 2005: 31 .

The superfamily comprises six families, i.e., five families known only from Mesozoic fossils ( Allopteridae , Liassochrysidae , Limaiidae , Mesochrysopidae , Tachinymphidae ), and the Chrysopidae , which includes Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous fossils, and all Recent species ( Adams 1967; Séméria and Nel 1990; Nel et al. 2005).
