Type-species: Scamandra rosea ( Guérin-Méneville, 1834) .

Note. Sexual dimorphism: males 15–25 % smaller than females.

Distribution. Oriental region, from Peninsular Malaysia to Sulawesi and Flores, including Greater and Lesser Sunda Islands and the Philippines.
