Halecium fastigiatum Allman, 1888

– fragmentary specimens, bearing male gonophores, were dredged off Nightingale Island (Allman 1888, Challenger Stn. 135c, depth 201 m). This species is incompletely known and has never been redescribed since its original description.

Halecium tenellum Hincks, 1861 Scotia material was dredged off Gough Island (depth 183 m) and was epizoic on an alcyonarian ( Thouarella sp.) (Ritchie 1907). This species was regarded as cosmopolitan by Cornelius (1995a).
