Mielke and Casagrande (2002) report that Evans (1953) misidentified Clito clito , which, based on a syntype, is actually a species of Milanion . The next available name for the species which Evans (1953) and Cock (1982) treated as C. clito is C. aberrans .

In Cock (1982) and subsequent papers, I followed Brown and Heineman (1972) in treating P. orcus Stoll as a valid species; Austin and Warren (2001) confirm this and formally raise P. orcus to species status.

Evans (1953) treated H. arsalte as having two subspecies, but Austin and Warren (2001) raise H. marginata Hayward to species level, leaving H. arsalte monotypic.
