Description. Forewings 2.1 times longer than wide, length in male about 3.7 mm. Colour stramineous; frons, margins of facial carinae in front of eyes, and fore legs faintly tinted with orange; antennae with a small orange mark; middle of pronotum orange-brown; anterior half of mesonotum with two light orange, longitudinal stripes; coxae and femora of middle and hind legs with small red marks. Forewings glassy; faintly infuscated from hind margin around clavus tip to end of first costal cell, around base of Ms2, and along apical crossveins; veins pale orange-red in infuscated areas, veins brown around base of Ms3, remaining veins (including last subcostal sector) stramineous; three dark spots on base of Sc+R. Hindwings colourless. In profile, junction of vertex and face evenly rounded; rostrum reaches hind coxae; subantennal processes connected to margins of facial carinae. Forewings with Sc+R fork well before middle of wing; basal median cell broad, more than twice as wide as basal cell between Sc+R and M; a triangle at base of Ms1. Apical part of male aedeagus short and flat with a dorsal impression and a round dorsal lobe on the right side.

Etymology. The species name is a Latin adjective (longuidus, -a, -um = elongated).

Type material. Holotype ♂ (forewing 3.7 mm), WEST MALAYSIA; labels: 1) Perak F.M. S./ Kunta Mallas/ at light/ Bolin Gayah/ May 7th 1924 ( BMNH).

Distribution. West Malaysia.

Diagnosis. Saccharodite longuida is characterized by the rounded junction of vertex and face, the orange and red marks on body and legs, the brown forewing veins at the base of Ms3, and the short, flat, and concave apical portion of the male aedeagus.
