Diagnosis. The species of this species group can be recognized by the combination of the following characters:

1. Forewings with a row of dark spots on the basal part of the costal margin.

2. Head in profile rectangular, produced above and in front of eyes and here with 2 dark stripes radiating from eyes to facial margin.

3. Forewings without any red marks.

Distribution. Species of this group are found in Sulawesi, the Philippines and southern China.
