( Fig. 302)

Description. Forewings 2.1 times longer than wide, length: male 3.4–3.9 mm (mean = 3.6, n = 33), female 3.5–4.5 mm (mean = 3.8, n = 4). Colour stramineous, but the following parts bright red: a mark above eyes, a mark on frons and base of clypeus in the shape of an inverted V, the hind parts of mesonotum and scutellum, some marks on sides of pro- and mesonotum, most of metathorax, middle and hind legs up to femora, and abdomen except for genitalia; margins of facial carinae in front of eyes faintly orange-brown; fore tibiae and tarsi light orange. Forewings glassy; lightly infuscated in basal 1/3rd and around last subcostal sector; veins colourless but following veins orange to red (in some specimens faintly orange, but not in holotype): apical half of Cu, veins around base of Ms1, hind margin around clavus tip, most of costal margin, and short sections of Sc, R, and M; 4 reddish brown spots on base of Sc+R. Hindwings colourless, but veins in basal half red. In profile junction of vertex and face slightly angulated; subantennal processes connected to margins of facial carinae by a low ridge; rostrum reaching hind coxae. Forewings with Sc+R fork at middle of wing; basal median cell broad, about 2x as wide as basal cell between Sc+R and M; a triangle at base of Ms1. Male genitalia with pygofer narrow. Genital styles oval; proximal dorsal process short and slender; distal dorsal process long. Apical portion of aedeagus with a dorsal, longitudinal groove and two terminal lobes, their dorsal margins with numerous small, pointed processes.
