Saccharodite plurima View in CoL species group

Diagnosis. The species of the Saccharodite plurima species group can be recognized by the combination of the following characters:

1. In profile head usually angulated (or slightly angulated, rarely rounded) at junction of vertex and face.

2. Forewings broad and glassy with typical venation.

3. Forewings with greatest width of basal median cell about twice of greatest width of basal cell between M and Sc+R.

4. Mesonotum and frons usually with bright red or orange-red marks.

5. Male genital style with proximal dorsal processes usually short and broad, typically much broader than distal dorsal process, especially at its base.

6. Apical part of male aedeagus usually complex with various processes.

Distribution. Species of this group are found in Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan and New Caledonia
