Etymology. Derived from the Philippine island of Luzon, the latinized species name ( luzonensis , -ensis, -ense) is an adjective.

Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Luzon I., Camarines Sur Prov., Mt Isarog, Pili , 800 m, 27.IV.1965, light trap, H.M. Torrevillas ( BPBM, # 11,949).

Distribution. Philippines (Luzon Island).
