This widespread, but rarely seen eucnemid species was previously recorded from Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin ( Muona 2000; Otto and Karns 2017) and is reported here for the first time from Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
