Diastolinus realinoi Marcuzzi, 2002 , incertae sedis

Diastolinus (Diastolinus) realinoi Marcuzzi 2002: 398 . Venezuela, Curaçao, Fr. Realino, 1934, on male, [Naturalis, Leiden].

Remarks. Marcuzzi (2002) states he thinks this specimen is really from Cuba, although his logic is at best contorted. At 12 mm, this is a large species, whatever it is. The antenna is not clubbed. The right pro- and mesotarsi are like a female’ s, the left like a male’ s. Repeated requests to Naturalis have gone unanswered.
