Remarks. Many new species and records await treatment in this group, with new island records known for the Bahamas including: South Bimini (AMNH); Water Cay (NMNH); Andros Is. (AMNH, MCZC); Exuma Cays (Darby Is., Leaf Cay of the Allen Cays, Bitter Guana Cay) (AMNH); Long Is. (AMNH, MCZ); Cat Is. (AMNH, MCZ); Rum Cay (AMNH); Crooked Is. (AMNH); Fortune Is. (Long Cay) (AMNH); Fish Cay (S. of Fortune Is.) (AMNH); East Plana Cay (East of French Cay) (AMNH); and Great Inagua (AMNH, MCZC). In addition to mainland Jamaica (BMNH, NMNH), records exist for the Pedro Cays (Southwest Cay) (NMNH) and the Morant Cays (Northeast Cay, Southwest Cay, Mid Cay, and Rocky Cay) (NMNH). Lastly, an undescribed species from Great Camanoe (TOR, WIBF) in the British Virgin Islands extends the range of this genus to the easternmost part of the Greater Antilles.
