Remarks.—A tawny species marked with piceous that is similar in size and appearance to O. loici n. comb. but lacks infuscation on the distal fore wing veins between apical cells. Body length is 24–26 mm, wingspan 70–77 mm ( Distant 1905b; specimens in hand).
Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2013). Distant (1905b) and Jacobi (1917) reported the species from Ikongo and Morondava, Madagascar.
