Remarks.—A castaneous species with spots silvery pile on the anterolateral abdomen. This is the larger of the two species of the genus found in Madagascar with male body length about 18 mm and wingspan about 58 mm ( Distant 1905d). Both submedian and lateral sigillae of the mesonotum are marked with piceous in this species.
Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963a).
