Type species: Dragmatucha proaula Meyrick, 1908 . Type locality: South Africa .
The genus Dragmatucha is also an Afrotropical genus, comprising 13 described species from Afrotropical region ( De Prins & De Prins 2020). The genus is characterized by the forewing venation with M 3 coincident with CuA 1, and the hind tibia is roughly tufted with long piliform scales.
