Host plants: Medicago , Ononis ( Fabaceae ).

General distribution: Europe, Caucasus, S and W Siberia, Central Asia ( Kazakhstan), East Asia ( China, Mongolia) [ CAE].

Note: Some of the previous reports of this species ( Barševskis 1993, 1997) are based on misidentification. Species is mentioned in the old bibliographical source Lackschewitz and Mikutowicz 1939 and in the published catalogues of Latvian Coleoptera ( Telnov 2004; Telnov et al. 1997). Occurrence of this species in Latvia needs confirmation.
